Eating out is great, but you’re watching your food intake it can seem daunting and almost scary. It’s actually a lot simpler than you think. For instance you are going out to a Chinese restaurant with friends on a Friday night. Order what you would usually have but this time hold back on pour the extra sauce over your food and make sure to eat all the accompanying veggies. Instead or ordering your usual egg fired rice order brown rice. Try to avoid having alcohol with your meal…what the heck its Friday go have something to drink but not too much. Recent studies have shown that red wine can in face be good for your health. Why not have one glass of red?
There is no need to avoid going out and socialising. You do not need to starve yourself you can eat food but just think for an extra minute before ordering.
