Carb rich, snacks and treats recipes

On this page I will sharing with you some of Joe Wicks carbohydrate rich recipes and some of his guilt free snacks and treats!!!

Breakfast:

“Winners Protein Pancakes 2.0”

(serves 1 pax)

This dish is best for post workout eating

Ingredients:

  • 50g Ricotta
  • 100g Rolled oats
  • 175ml of Almond milk
  • 2 tbsp Plain flour
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 Scoop / 30g Chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Raspberries and full fat Greek yogurt to serve
  • mint leaves to decorate

Dinner:

“Prawn and courgette Linguini”

( serves 1 pax)

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove of Garlice
  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 1 small grated courgette
  • salt and pepper
  • 200g of king prawns
  • 200g of fresh linguini
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • juice of 1 lemon

    Snacks and Treats

          Guilt free Peanut butter cookies

        &

      Carrot and Apple Muffins

Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 60g smooth peabut butter
  2. 1 scoop/ 30g of chocolate protein powder
  3. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  4. 30g of ground almonds
  5. 1 eggs
  6. 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda

 

Method:

Preheat you oven to 180  C (fan 160 C, gas mark 4) and a line a baking tray with baking parchment.

Put all ingredients in a bowl and beat them with a wooden spoon until smooth. Dollop out mounded tablespoons of the mixture (about the size of a Ferrero Roche) onto a baking tray, leaving a gap of about 5cm between the mounds.

Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from the tray and leave to cool on a wire rack.

Carrot and Apple Muffins: Joe says these muffins are perfect with a cup of tea with friends!!!
